    We had a lovely birthday meal for my husband. The location is stunning, we were served by Imie and Neal the manager seated us also checked in throughout, they were both very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. The food selection was really wide, catering well for my husband’s egg allergy and me being vegetarian. My dad’s girlfriend’s dog came with us and we loved that she was given a cup of treats and a bowl of water. She enjoy sitting by the lake. We were all very impressed, the food was delicious. I ordered the vegetarian roast along with my dad’s partner, which we both said was one of the best we’ve had for a long time. My dad loved his pork roast and my husband’s burger was great. We will definitely be back.

    Beautiful place to stay! Ample parking with an overflow car park. Inside and outside tables for dining with the outside tables right by the lake with some stunning views. Wonderful service from Nate, a real credit to you and an example of what fantastic service is all about. Showed us to our room, explained everything perfectly with a friendliness that is rare these days. Room was exactly as titled, cozy! Had everything you would need and had a mixture of feeling rustic but with modern touches that went well! Only disappointment was not being able to select a room that has a bath tub, minor thing in all honesty as the shower/wet room was perfectly fine. Will definitely be staying again!

    First visit here for a long time. Allergy info was clearly marked on the menu via QR code, and the excellent staff member (Paul?) checked our allergy query with the kitchen. Lovely meal, lovely setting in a warm and welcoming pub. We’ll be back!

    My partner surprised me with a night at the wire mill. What a lovely space. The food was well prepared and lovely ( with plenty of gluten free options for my coeliac partner). The service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly. Our dog was welcome at every part and even got a welcome box.
